Starting 2018 off the right way, with new music announcements and releases! We’ve got new singles, new collaborations and new promises from some of the hottest names in country.
Dan + Shay
It’s about damn time for some new Dan + Shay. The vocal duo teased their new music by posting an image of their signature plus and a date, 1.10.18, next Wednesday. Excited is an understatement, because new music means a new album, and hopefully a new UK tour. They did promise they would be back!
Maddie & Tae
Finally it seems that all those new songs we’ve heard them play live, at least over here in the UK, are close to a release date! One half of the duo, Maddie Marlow, tweeted that new music could be on it’s way sooner rather than later, amazing news. If I recall correctly, they did say, when over here, that it would be the beginning of this year, so fingers crossed it’s here asap!
Who hasn’t been waiting on new Maren Morris music since the 2016 release of HERO, especially since videos started circulating on social media of her performing new song “Flavor” on tour. Similar to the revelation by Maddie, Morris tweeted that new music will be here “sooner than you think”.
Chris Stapleton is seriously spoiling us, two albums down and now a collaboration with Justin Timberlake, one of our favourite bromances to date. The track is called “Say Something” and features on Timberlake’s upcoming album Man of the Woods set for release February 2nd.
Brothers Osborne announced their new single at the beginning of the week uploading it to YouTube, before releasing it to streaming platforms today. Check out their ‘In The Studio’ version of “Shoot Me Straight” below.
Each song Dawson has released so far is better than the last. New song “Symptoms” continues to set a very high standard for his debut album, set for release January 19th.
Not a new announcement, but recent enough. Kacey Musgraves announced at the end of 2017 that her new album, Golden Hour will be out early 2018. Waiting so impatiently for this one.
